Zach Rich
Trombone
Zach is a multi-award-winning composer, trombonist, and educator based in Northern Colorado. He performs with and writes for many ensembles around the country. Recently, his compositions have received recognition from organizations such as the New York Youth Symphony, the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), the Jazz Education Network (JEN), the International Society of Jazz Arrangers and Composers (ISJAC), and the American Society of Music Arrangers and Composers (ASMAC).
In addition to performing with and writing for several ensembles, Zach is a passionate educator. He teaches composition, arranging, improvisation, and trombone technique in his private studio in Colorado. Zach also enjoys traveling as a guest artist and clinician.
