A note from CJRO Artistic Director, Drew Zaremba
The upcoming season is our biggest yet, full of fan favorites, new adventures, and high notes (quite literally)!
Firstly, our highest note has to be the release of our new album, Golden Lady. The band unlocked a new apex, and working with Tatiana, an old friend and incredible musician, was an absolute blast.
On the fan favorite side, you can't go wrong with our Afro-Caribbean small group and big band series this October, as well as our oft-demanded old-school big band swing concerts.
Our new adventures include a new collaboration in February with Stories on Stage (bring your tissues, it might get emotional), a new podcast and a new production with our now good friends at Wonderbound. I'm incredibly honored that Garrett asked me to write a new score for his ballet "Decadent Desires". I've already begun working on this and can't wait to see the choreography.
Thank you all for being fans of the CJRO. My only job for you remains the same: if you love seeing us, tell everyone you know! As Duke always said, "we love you madly".
I’ll see you from the bandstand!
Drew
