Billie Holiday was famous for many jazz tunes, such as “Summertime,” and “God Bless the Child.” The CJRO Sextet will perform many of Holiday’s hits including a few that will be played note for note as originally performed. It’s going to be Swingin' evening!

Led by vocalist Heidi Schmidt, the Sextet features CJRO artistic director, Drew Zaremba on alto sax and flute; Shane Endsley (trumpet); Eric Erhardt (tenor sax/clarinet); Ken Walker (bass); Justin Adams (piano), and Todd Reid on drums. 

This concert is part of the Parker Arts Friday Night Jazz Series at the Schoolhouse Theater.
